So the weather was great and it sounded like a great idea to go away for a camping weekend at the sea side.
So the van was packed with the tent, gazebo, barbeque (BBQ) and all the food and off we went to enjoy out time at the resort.
We decided to use the Ultimate Convector Grill as the cooker of choice for the weekend because it is just so flexible in what we could cook on it. With the lid it basically becomes an oven, a grill and a stove all in one.
The unit has a temperature control vent and a thermometer to show exactly what is going on during the whole process.
We decided that for dinner we would cook cajun chicken, maize on the cob in aluminium foil with potatoes .

Then it did'nt end just right there. The next morning was the next challenge for the Ultimate Convector Grill when we decided to try scrambled egg, meat balls wrapped in bacon and mushrooms with cheese topping....

Well ,they told us that it would be impossible to do in January.
"You will have icy roads, rain, rain and more rain , snow" they said !
Well if you spit that word in two it says i'm possible, so, armed with our latest stainless steel folding camping grid and a few prepacked tupperware dishes with our meat and drinks in them we headed off to the trout dam where there was a bush craft lesson in session.
After they had done their rough "cook on a stick" session, we set up the folding camp grid popped on our meat pieces and stood watching them cook while we sipped on a cup of steaming hot coffee.
15 minutes later after a few turns the 2 pork steaks were cooked to perfection and we were ready to go and have a stunning tasty smoked treat.
